We have officially released the first public beta of the next major release of our Aeris iOS Weather SDK. As we’ve previously reviewed in part 1 and part 2 of our preview blog posts, there are many new features and considerable improvements to not only performance but also working with the SDK.
If you want to take part in the SDK beta program, all you need to do is review our new 2.0 usage documentation in our developers section of the site. You can also find it in the public Github repo containing the updated demo project along with the SDK files needed for your own projects. And as you’re working on or updating your current projects for iOS 8, feel free to report back with any bug reports and feature suggestions as we move towards the final 2.0 version.
Note that the usage and API documentation we currently have available we currently have available is limited to the basics and will be expanded upon in future beta releases as we approach the final 2.0 release.
