Announcing Improvements to the AerisWeather Mapping Platform (AMP)

This week we are excited to announce new updates and features for AMP – our AerisWeather Mapping Platform. Japan Radar Expansion Within the AerisWeather Mapping Platform, radar is consistently the most popular layer in our customer applications.  With this knowledge in mind, we are continuing to invest resources into improving its accuracy and coverage.  Today, we are excited to announce we have expanded radar imagery coverage to include Japan. Weather and Climate Disasters Are Increasing Across the U.S.

Many days the news headlines sound like a movie trailer for The Apocalypse. For many years I’ve wondered if media and social media are merely doing a better/faster job of reporting weather extremes that have been fairly constant over time, or is a warmer, wetter, more volatile atmosphere loading the dice in favor of more meteorological mayhem?
