Aeris Weather API V1.7.0 Released!

Today we released version 1.7.0 of the Aeris Weather API to production. This update provides several new features, improvements and bug fixes. Check out the version history for the complete list of changes. Lightning Add-on With 1.7.0, the API supports our new Aeris Lightning API add-on. This addition provides the ability to obtain information on lightning strikes from the past 5 minutes and within a 25 mile radius of a specified location. AerisWeather is now integrated with the WhirlyGlobe-Maply mobile toolkit! Mousebird Consulting Inc. does high performance mobile data display. They make the WhirlyGlobe-Maply open source geo-spatial toolkit for iOS and Android. The toolkit is a mobile first SDK used in a variety of weather, aerospace, map, and education apps. The WhirlyGlobe-Maply toolkit already supports a wide variety of weather and aviation apps, so they just made it easier to fetch AerisWeather data layers. Aeris iOS Weather SDK 2.2.0 Released

Our next minor version of our Aeris iOS Weather SDK is now available with several new features and whole lot of bug fixes and improvements. Supported iOS Versions With iOS 8 and 9 adoption at 90-95% and iOS 9 adoption quickly rising to near 75% according to Apple and Mixpanel, our iOS SDKs are currently being developed to only support iOS 7 and higher.
