Account Manager

We ingest, analyze, transform, and visualize data from an assortment of sources to produce the best and most in-depth weather products for our global customer base. AerisWeather is seeking a technically savvy Account Manager to grow existing business relationships with clients while offering support through integrating and implementing their use cases. The ideal Account Manager would be comfortable working with various teams, including Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to craft customer-specific solutions and drive client growth. Being a part of the Customer Success team also means you will have opportunities to explore various roles and take on a variety of responsibilities, including developing new business-to-business relationships or providing technical customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Research and become an expert on a variety of industries to learn their roles and identify opportunities
  • Assist onboarding and existing customers integrate their use cases with our data and visualization APIs
  • Monitor existing clients to proactively identify, evaluate, and help solve customer issues with products, recommending a course of action
  • Establish a trusting relationship with clients of all backgrounds, including developers, product managers, and executives
  • Develop retention strategies striving for low churn rates
  • Propose product improvements based on client generated feedback
  • Drive revenue growth through renewals, and work with Account Executives to identify right-sizing, cross-sales, and up-sale opportunities
  • Become the voice of the customer to provide visibility and/or escalations to client issues
  • Assist with technical-related support inquiries
  • Assist Account Executive in sales meetings and technical support requests
  • Conduct remote business reviews to recap usage and to further engage the client
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop client case studies & other marketing material

Requirements

  • 2+ years customer-facing or account management experience in a SaaS or technology-focused company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communicator in both presenting and writing
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability/desire to learn
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

Additional Considerations

  • Experience with APIs and web services
  • General understanding of JavaScript, Python, Node, HTML and/or other popular development languages
  • Salesforce and/or Zendesk experience
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer/document tools
  • Interest in weather and weather-related technologies
