API Support Specialist

API Support Specialists at AerisWeather not only provide our customers with answers to their questions, we provide solutions to help our clients achieve their goals. We’re adding a new member to our team, so if you have great attitude, the willingness to learn our systems and processes, and a desire become an expert across various software platforms and products, we’d love to talk to you.

Responsibilities

  • Field incoming help requests from clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with our data and visualization APIs. You will become intimately familiar with our APIs.
  • Debugging web services by building example integrations and experiments for developer issues.
  • Identify and evaluate customer reported issues with products; recommending a course of action.
  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems.
  • Document all pertinent end user and issue information within our issue tracking system.
  • Engage with our software and feature development discussion to create and improve our systems.
  • Be a problem solver.
  • Assist the sales team with technical questions about our products.
  • Execute pre-written tests to ensure product quality.

Requirements

  • Willing to code and experiment although you may not be an expert nor have extensive programming experience.
  • Experience with APIs and web services.
  • 1+ years experience in a technical role with direct contact with customers and clients.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to help our clients succeed.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

Additional Considerations

  • Willingness to expand in QA role as you become more familiar with our products is a plus
