Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Position Overview
AerisWeather is seeking an SDR to manage and grow existing business relationships, and support account executives with qualifying and developing new business opportunities for mobile and web applications, that leverage our proprietary global environmental data.  The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with AerisWeather’s development and account teams, integrating environmental data into some of the newest and most advanced applications out of Silicon Valley and other technology centers.


  • Assist with managing key existing accounts. 
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and accountability through consultative selling. 
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services. 
  • Identify potential new clients through lead generation and qualification. 
  • Complete appropriate activity reports and forecasts as required. 
  • Participate in sales and revenue related discussions. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, technology and/or equivalent experience. 
  • 0-5 years of experience.
  • Documented record of exceeding goals (scholastically and/or professionally). 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication. 
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills; candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, evolving environment. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point, and other computer/document tools. 
  • Must be fluent in English. 

Additional Considerations

  • Familiar with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM application. 
  • Experience in software, data, weather OR similar tech industry.
