Software Quality Assurance Team Lead

We're looking for a Software Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN, to...

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to improve systems
  • Proactively implement test strategies to prevent future issues
  • Design, manage, and maintain internal QA products for services, such as data ingest, Web APIs, SDKs, mapping tile service, etc.
  • Train and mentor QA staff
  • Provide technical advice and consultation for ongoing projects and critical escalations
  • Ensure transparency with dev team regarding QA workflow / project status
  • Prioritize QA tasks and assignments

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a software testing role
  • 1+ year experience leading a team
  • Experience testing web-based applications, services, and user interfaces
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices & methodologies
  • Ability to drive and influence projects to meet deadlines, client expectations, and quality assurance standards

Additional Considerations

  • Experience with Postman, AWS, Locust, and MongoDB
  • Experience with Node.js or Python
  • BA / BS in Computer Science preferred but not required
  • Experience with weather products / industry
