* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak wind gusts will occur in the afternoon with cold front passage. Showers and thunderstorms may mix down stronger winds with isolated wind gusts up to 55 mph.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of North and North Central Idaho, including the following counties, in North Idaho, Shoshone. In North Central Idaho, Lewis.

* WHEN...From this afternoon through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. There will be an increased risk for rock slides in steep terrain. The greatest risk of flooding will generally occur south and east of the Silver Valley.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An atmospheric river will move into the area this afternoon and continue through Monday bringing moderate to heavy rainfall to portions of the Inland Northwest. 1.5 to 2.0 inches of rain is expected over southeast Shoshone County with amounts around an inch over the Camas Prairie. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
