...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Coleman, McCulloch and San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1107 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall over much of Mcculloch county northward to Coleman...was moving northeast at 35 mph toward Brownwood. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brownwood, Brady, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket, Melvin, Trickham, Winchell, Brookesmith, Rockwood, Mercury, Waldrip, Placid, Gouldbusk, Lohn, Lake Brownwood, Camp Bowie and Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
